The Philadelphia Economic Equity Project (PEEP) is on a mission to understand economic mobility and experiences of economic hardship and instability in Philadelphia to support community-based and policy solutions.
Our goal is to develop data and research that identifies and supports local solutions that work to move Philadelphians into economic stability and growth.
“This endeavor is about getting the research and work into the hands of those on the frontlines… Just a one percent change (in poverty) equals improving the lives of 15,000 people (in Philadelphia).”
- Michael A. Nutter, former Mayor of Philadelphia
